About

The Islamophobia in Australia report was written by a number of contributors and edited by Dr. Derya Iner of Charles Sturt University. The report highlights many examples of Islamophobic behaviour in Australian communities, and explores possible solutions to the negative multi-cultural sentiment that exists in our country.

It was an honour to work on this document with Dr. Iner, as stamping out racism in this country is something that I am passionate about. My task in the project was to take the report from the original formatted Word document and turn it into a designed report that would engage it’s readers. There was no established brand, or style guide to run with, so everything was designed from scratch. I utilised a special 1/4 + 3/4 column structure in order to house the iconographic elements that ran throughout the document, and allowed the text to flow without interruption. The final design was a great success, and something that I am immensely proud of.
